A Life Relived

Jacob, dead at twenty and feeling robbed of what he thought would be a long and fruitful life. He’s met by a mysterious figure whose job it is to guide him through his memories and into whatever comes next.

Yet, the figure seems . . . familiar. As Jacob recounts his memories — some good, some bad, and some forgotten — he comes to the realization that he could have done some things differently. His guide, who calls themself Eran, tells Jacob that he can change one thing, and only one thing about his past, if he dares

A Death Worth Living by Trey Stone

A Death Worth Living is an introspective novella about life, death, sorrow and remembrance. What if you were given the opportunity to go back through your life and change it all – would you do it?

For me, it’s a deeply personal book, semi-biographical and largely built on my own experiences and memories. Every single character is based on someone close to me, some family, some friends, some people who came and went. Honestly, it was a need for self-reflection that made me start writing this, and the emotional release and catharsis it gave me made me see it through to the end. I’m very excited (and a little bit nervous) to share it with the world, but I hope that it can give to you some of what it gave to me.

So please, go check it out today at Inked In Gray. It would mean the world to me.
